"If you could see the woman God created you to be, you would rise up and never be the same!"

Standing in an antique shop years ago, Paula Rutherford spied a small sign that captured the cry of her heart...

"If you could see the woman God created you to be, you would rise up and never be the same!"

For over twenty years, that has been her personal battle cry and the heart of the Bible studies that she has written and taught.  She is blessed to carry out that passion twice weekly in her local church and community.  Known to be a bit zany, her visual nature and love for gardening and traveling have fueled another passion--creating and directing dramatic presentations that help others see God's Word  come alive!  Often those dramatic pieces have been incorporated into the conferences and retreats where she has been privileged to share her heart.

Spurred on by the verbal snapshots from Paula's daily life and her Sunday morning dramas, the ladies in her Thursday Bible studies encouraged her to write her first published book,"Dusting for God's Fingerprints... And Discovering the Message He Leaves for Us."  This 26-day challenge to go from victim to victory came on the heels of the unexpected, for in 2007, Paula suddenly became a widow.  Indeed, she has known the pain of loss.  But alongside loss, she has experienced the great joy of being a mom to four amazing children--the two she gave birth to and the two they married.

Oh, but be warned...You might need to pull up a chair and sit as she recounts her glorious role as "Gi-Gi" to seven, and soon to be eight, of the most adorable grandchildren anyone could ask for!  Of course, being a mom and a grandmother, as well as a friend to a great gaggle of gals, has been enriched by the role of a lifetime--being Paula of Jesus--the child of the King of Kings!  She invites you to join her on a journey to find your true worth in Him...

That I may know Him experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely and in that same way experience the power of His resurrection which overflows and is active in believers, and that I may share the fellowship of His sufferings, by being continually conformed inwardly into His likeness even to His death dying as He did...

You can find me in my garden having Java with Jesus or in my kitchen baking for family and friends or visiting places far and wide... But wherever I am, it is in Him that I live and move and have my being!
